Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TurboShip Logistics LLC collects through its driver onboarding portal, how that information is used, shared, and protected, what cookies and device storage the portal relies on, and the choices available to you.

Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Policy describes how TurboShip Logistics LLC ("TurboShip," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through its invite-only driver onboarding portal at turboship.online (the "Portal"). It applies to driver candidates, registered drivers, and authorized TurboShip personnel who use the Portal.

By registering for or using the Portal, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

Information collected

Registration and profile information: your name, phone number, email address, street address, city, state, ZIP code, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), invite-code information, and city/market assignment.

Onboarding records: uploaded document copies (such as auto insurance cards) and their expiration dates, signed agreements and attestations, training completion status, onboarding progress, payment and tax setup status, and document upload metadata such as file names, sizes, and timestamps.

Support and technical information: support communications, login and account activity, and technical data collected automatically such as IP address, browser type, device information, and error reports.

How information is used

TurboShip uses Portal data to review driver onboarding eligibility, administer invite-only registration, verify identity and documents, manage required agreements, verify training completion, route support requests, coordinate payment or tax setup through approved third-party services, secure and troubleshoot the Portal, and comply with legal, tax, and insurance obligations.

Portal data is not used for unrelated marketing, and it is never sold or rented to third parties.

Cookies and device storage

The Portal uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries (localStorage). These are required for the Portal to function and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking: an authentication session token that keeps you signed in (set by our authentication provider, Supabase); a "remember this device" entry that stores your login email only if you opt in on the login page; and an entry recording that you have seen our cookie notice.

Our error-monitoring service (Sentry) may process technical data such as browser type and the page where an error occurred so we can fix problems; it is used for diagnostics, not advertising. The Portal does not use third-party advertising cookies or analytics trackers.

You can clear cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Because these entries are essential, clearing them will sign you out and reset your saved preferences.

Sharing and service providers

TurboShip shares limited information with service providers that support authentication and data hosting (Supabase), website hosting, document storage, e-signature workflows, payment and tax setup, background or compliance review, work-platform onboarding (such as WorkMarket), error monitoring (Sentry), and operational support. These providers may only use your information to provide services to TurboShip.

TurboShip may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, safety, or property of TurboShip, drivers, or others; or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale, in which case this policy will continue to apply until updated.

TurboShip reviews its service providers for security, privacy, and responsible data-handling practices.

Security and retention

Driver data is stored in systems protected by strict access controls, encryption in transit, and monitored activity logging. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and contact support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

TurboShip retains driver data only as long as needed for onboarding, operational, legal, tax, compliance, insurance, and dispute-resolution purposes, and then deletes or de-identifies it.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Portal information by contacting TurboShip support. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights. TurboShip does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Some records may need to be retained even after a deletion request when required for tax, legal, compliance, safety, insurance, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons. Support staff verify the identity of the requestor before disclosing, correcting, or deleting driver records.

Communications

TurboShip may contact you about your registration, onboarding, documents, account security, and related operational matters by email, phone, and text message, as described in the Terms of Service. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP; essential account and security notices may still be sent while you hold an account.

Children

The Portal is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. TurboShip does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has provided information through the Portal, contact support so it can be removed.

Changes to this policy

TurboShip may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date below the title shows when the current version took effect. For material changes, TurboShip will provide notice through the Portal or by email. Continuing to use the Portal after changes take effect means you acknowledge the updated policy.
